Drawing from Nature

With so much of my time being spent interacting with and through screens, the time I spend drawing provides a welcome opportunity to drop into the present moment and engage with the natural beauty around me.

In the moment

Nature is my favourite subject, always offering the most elegant line, the most intricate pattern and the most stunning combination of colours. For me, finding new subjects is an exercise of being in the moment and getting lost in the details.

Inspiration right outside

I am very lucky to have the space to grow a big garden! While the focus is on growing food for my family, I also grow many flowers and plants that bring beauty and inspiration through the season.
