The Nelson Community Food Centre is a vital and beloved local community services organization that I have had the pleasure of working with since 2016. With a warm and approachable look, supported by beautiful custom photography, I have helped the NCFC communicate the important services and initiatives they offer our community through a wide range of materials, some of which are featured below.

The Strategic plan is a declaration of the objectives that NCFC is working towards over the period of 5 years. Through clear, inviting and accessible design, paired with facts, figures, the voices of beneficiaries and beautiful custom photography, we are able to communicate the information and intension that inspires action and participation.

Other materials we have produced run the gamut from annual reports, case for support, promotional flyers and posters for fundraising initiatives, templates for in-house use, social and email graphics, and more. Here’s a small sample.
Videos and volunteering
In more recent years, my love of this organizations work has inspired me to become a monthly donor and a volunteer supporting their weekly food bank, as well as supporting their food skills program, through leading cooking classes and producing cooking videos, where I get to share my love of growing and preparing seasonal produce with their YouTube channel viewers.
