UpUp Playtower

In 2015 my husband Lukas and I launched a Kickstarter campaign for the UpUp Playtower, a multi-functional learning tower and play space for kids that we originally designed for our 2 year old. Lukas’s industrial design and architecture training were instrumental in the product development, and my graphic design skills came in handy for the campaign’s branding and promotions.

The Countdown is on!

This series of graphics helped us count down to the big launch day. It was fun coming up with the simple dialogue between the mum and child to help educate the viewer about the Playtower’s functions and benefits.

Kickstarter Rewards

I had a ton of fun developing the rewards packages using my own papercut illustrations, then staging the product photos. The rewards all connected to kid-and-parent-friendly tone of the brand and included activity inspiration magnets, greeting card sets, tote bags, colouring pages, and more.

Clear Communication

It was important to provide information about product features and the reward packages in a very clear way.

By the end of the campaign we received pledges from over 50 people! While it wasn’t enough to fund our project, we learned so much and had so much fun in the process!
